Description: This tour starts in the traditional Plaza de Mayo, where we sightseeing Casa Rosada, Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral.Then we take a walk along the Stone paved streets of San Telmo neighborhood. Close to this place, we discover plenty of colorful buildings that turned the neighborhood of La Boca into one of the most recognizable places in the City. We make a stop in Calle Caminito, where football tango and art meet. The tour goes on as we visit the iconic and modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero. San Martín Square, Alvear Avenue, Our Lady of Pilar Basilica and the Cemetery of Recoleta, (where Eva Peron rests are). These are some of the attractions to visit in Retiro and Recoleta Neighborhood. The Tour finishes in Palermo Chico neighborhood, a residential place characterized by petit French style palaces and green areas designed by the landscaper Charles Thays.

Full Day Tigre with Lunch

Description: We will start this tour taking a trip 30 km north from Buenos Aires in order to visit Tigre City, which holds the secret of the local aristocracy as it has been selected as their holiday destination in the early 1900’s.
Once in the city of Tigre, we will take a catamaran to enjoy the waters of the only delta that ends up in a river. During the tour of the ship, we will be able to gaze at the life of the river: flora, fauna and water activities. At the end of the navigation, the lunch will be offered in one of the most recommended restaurants in the area. Then, we take a look into some Tigre’s attractions: Victorica riverside promenade and Puerto de frutos. Finally, we take a walk into San Isidro downtown and Cathedral on our way back to the city of Buenos Aires.

Ranch Day at Estancia Santa Susana

Description: Experience the genuine gaucho lifestyle, Argentinean folklore and learn how the “Gauchos” (Argentinean cowboys) make a living from hunting and herding cows. During this full day tour you will have the most authentic gaucho experience on the Santa Susana Estancia. Enjoy horse riding or a trip on a horse drawn carriage and be amazed by the vast flatlands that surround Buenos Aires known as the pampas.

  • All booked Optional City Tours cancelled before August 20th, 2018 are fully refundable, except for bank charges
  • No refunds for cancellations made after August 20th, 2018.
  • All cancellations must be done in writing to evronas events and are only valid upon written confirmation by evronas events.
  • All refunds will be executed after the end of the congress in September 2018.

Iguazu Waterfalls

Iguazú Waterfalls are located near the triple border Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. Falls are located in the province of Misiones, Iguazú National Park, Argentina and Parque Nacional do Iguaçu Paraná state, Brazil. They are made of 275 jumpsup to 80 m high, fed by the Iguazú river flow. You can take boat rides under the waterfalls and hiking trails to appreciate some subtropical jungle animals. The "Garganta del Diablo"(“Devil´s throat” the biggest jump, which consists of 80 m) is separate show, departing from Puerto Canoas, can be enjoyed in all its majesty only 50 m away.)

Rest of the afternoon to visit the Brazilian side Falls
Located on the west end of the Paraná river, the Iguazú Park is a huge tropical rainforest which has been declared a World Heritage Site: it is one of the largest forest reserves in South America. Countless flora and fauna species live in it. We will take an elevator down to the base of the waterfalls and stop right above the river level. From a 1,000-meter footbridge, we will be able to admire the majestic Iguazú Falls or go up an elevator to the Salto Floreano viewpoint.
 
Overnight accommodations at selected hotel in Puerto Iguazú, standard room with breakfast included.

Day 2 - Full Day Duration
Argentinean Side Waterfalls Tour
 
You'll get a close-up view of Devil´s Throat, which is best seen from the Brazilian side. Watch as 14 falls drop 350 feet (107 meters) with such force that a 100-foot (30-meter) tall cloud of mist stays permanently suspended overhead. This area is famous for its rainbow, and more great photo opportunities abound!
 
For a close-up of the falls, walk through the park’s subtropical forest to the base of Salto Floriano. Then take the elevator to the top of the falls, or walk out over the falls at Salto Union. Iguazú National Park is located in the northwest of the province of Misiones, 11 miles from Puerto Iguazú. Its preserved ecosystem belongs to the Paraná Jungle eco region that covers almost all the provincial territory.The natural treasure being hosted are the Iguazú Waterfalls: 275 waterfalls that reach an altitude of almost 260 feet. They were declared one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature in the World and, also, Mankind Natural Heritage. The Lower Circuit is composed of a trail approximately 0.8 miles (1.3 km) long that allows you to get close to some of the smaller waterfalls on the Argentinean side. Walk along the trail, which is equipped with both restrooms and snack bars, and get close to the Carlos Bozzetti Waterfall, where you can take some great photos.

Airport Transfer to Iguazú Airport in order to take flight.
